A person who self-identified as Buddhist and writes about it here on Medium posted this response:

"You sound like someone riffing on what they do not know. May I ask : have you read any of the core texts? Any academic papers vis Buddhist philosophy?"

To which I responded:

"I have read a significant amount of Buddhist philosophy and have taught about it in university comparative religion courses. It is error if you assume that disagreement with a concept equals ignorance of that concept."

The self-identified Buddhist then insulted me and blocked me.

Read into that what you will, but doesn't sound very Buddhist to me.
