A pleasure to meet you. I appreciate what you say about the middle class and designing for them. I love the ceramic bird on your Andersen design Web page.

I have though much about that golden age era of the 1950s and on when everything seemed so optimistic and progressive (at least for some people). My father was a beneficiary of that era. I mean to someday explore that idea more fully and ask if we have lost something from that era.

That era was when people in the working/middle class had the most free opportunities to follow their own path, start their own trades and businesses. Now, we have returned to a robber baron era where the trusts/corporations dominate. As you put it so well, the corporate state.

I will follow you and look forward to reading your writings.
