Everything you say is so true. Sad, but true. It reminds me that conspiracy theories are the tip of the iceberg of information manipulation. I touched on that briefly in connecting hem with political conspiracy theories, but not adequately.

I hadn't thought of these issues in terms of Nietzsche's Apollonian-Dionysian distinction. I like how you put it that way and will have to think more on that.
