If I was asked to name the five most important living philosophers, Seyla Benhabib would definitely make the list. Professor Benhabib is on faculty at Columbia University and Yale University. She has published extensively on the philosophy of human rights, culture, community, law, citizenship, and migration.

The Hannah Arendt Center is a Medium member, publishing articles on the philosophy of politics, justice, interpersonal relations, and human rights. The Center is a wonderful addition to Medium, their publications continuing in the spirit of Hannah Arendt with deep and vital thinking.

The Hannah Arendt Center recently published a philosophy article, “An Open Letter To My Friends Who Signed ‘Philosophy for Palestine’” by Professor Benhabib — an open letter about the current events in Israel and Palestine. This is an important piece by a world-renowned scholar writing in their field of expertise on one of the most significant current issues. It deserves to be read. It deserves to be Boosted (selected by Medium’s Curation Team for higher distribution to readers).

Medium’s gatekeepers decided it isn’t worth showing to you.
