Great graphics and a reasonable argument. The social media system isn't broken, and it also isn't the problem. All that social media has done is enhance the pre-existing human tendency of needing recognition from others.

I couldn't agree more with you on the solution being long-form content. That is why I keep urging Medium to promote high-quality long-form articles. Alas, they haven't realized yet that that is the best path, and they still insist on promoting influencers and that sort of fluff.
