I agree with all that you say, but how do we draw the line that defines cultural appropriation? Certainly, someone profiting off of a tradition that is not theirs seems to be unethical, but is it correct to say that no one but a particular group is allowed to partake in a particular practice? I am not advocating a position, but interested in the topic of cultural recognition/misrecognition.
