I agree with what you say, which is why I stressed in my article and video that we need to understand Hume’s critique in the context of the 1700s. Science has changed; it has evolved. Hume’s critique is part of what motivated that change. I wrote this and several earlier articles because there are too many people who say they luuuvvvv science so much but are still stuck in a Newtonian paradigm of what science is.
