I argue that slacktivism is something else. That is the halfhearted acts of liking a social media post or signing an online petition and feeling you’ve done something. Being stroppy is actively engaging in hostile words and actions, directly or indirectly at a target, for the sake of being hostile and feeling you’ve done something.
