I couldn't agree more with you. Multiple philosophers have talked about how society trains us to equate compliance with social norms with rationality. Thinking for oneself has always been contrary to society's definition of reason and order.

I have zero tolerance for atheists. I do not share their bigotry and I cannot condone their irrationality and hypocrisy. And no, I am not the least bit religious, I just don't hate religion.
