I haven't heard that term, but I am fafamiliar with the basic concept. Definitely, tearing down institutions is not a productive response, but I don't see aiming for a middle of the road politics will yield anything substantial or positive. I like the idea of deliberative democracy in which institutions welocme all input and is responsive to change and needs, but with a goal of increasing rights and prosperity for all, whether or not some object.
