I respect your point of view. I am American but have lived in Europe for 8 years. I still vote in US elections. My take is that the Democrats have most of the same policies as the Republicans but pretend otherwise. A lesser evil is still evil.

I agree with you that the media ignores voter apathy in the US. As do the parties for the most part, who just fight over a dwindling demographic and call it "targeting." There is no appeal to the American People anymore, only catering to their base, mostly by fear-mongering about the other party.

Voting third-party at least has the slight hope that a movement can gain momentum. Will it succeed? Looks grim, but we know the lesser evil strategy never succeeds.
