I take a very different approach that the Universe has always existed and always will exist, which I see as perfectly compatible with the concept of a divine Being. I see the Big Bang and expanding universe theories as assumptions influenced by the Judaeo-Christian conception of the Universe having to have a definitive beginning and end. Science in the Western world is still thinking within that paradigm.

Regardless, neither theory can be proven or disproven. What lies in front of us, is more important. But I had long wanted to write something about how the evidence disproved the expanding universe theory.
