I'm not following the reasoning here, if there is reasoning taking place. Equating Godspell and JC Superstar with the right-wing is a little bizarre. They were just Broadway doing what it has always done: jump on the bandwagon of whatever is trending and add corny music to it. Is your "argument" simply that anything remotely spiritual or religious is reprehensible to you? That would be a rather conspiratorial and right-wing attitude.
