Who volunteered to create gated communities--silos--that keep out undesirables.

"As for its silos, if you boost a post from another server, it will be visible to others on your server."

And only on that server--a gated community--a silo.

And you have proven my argument not only in those two sentences, but in the very fact that here, unlike on mastodon, you were allowed to post a disagreement with the original article, I was allowed to ask you a question, and you were allowed to express your disagreement with my article. None of that is possible in the silos of mastodon.

BTW - Your opening paragraph shows you didn't read my article closely enough, if at all. But thanks for proving how correct I am about the problem of siloization and the human tendency to self-segregate. Knowledge can come only to those who dare search. Not everyone has that courage--those people instead create silos to hide within their willful ignorance. Good day.
