Kinda yeah. But Trump is not so much a conspiracy as simply power manifesting its interests.
Trump ran for POTUS just for better access to goodies. He never had any other agenda, and he never gave a dren about actually doing anything as POTUS, and indeed, he never did. He was and still is a useful idiot for the uber-rich power interests. They let the man-child run around and mouth off and it diverts attention from what is really going on. Bush, Jr. was an earlier version. And yes, the Democratic party is fine with Trump being there because it helps their fundraising and their own efforts to serve the uber-rich power interests.
