Multiple errors in that. First off, moving images on a screen are still real, even David Hume didn't make that mistake. To say that you don't know the future therefore the present doesn't exist is bizarre foolishness. Secondly, the homunculus model of the mind as a detached observer viewing images was refuted a long time ago. We aren't observing our thoughts we are experiencing them. Differently than experiencing an external object, we are in our thinking, experiencing ourselves.
Instead of trying to run away from yourself (which is a hopeless and foolish task), accept each thought as a part of who you are and accept those opportunities to realize and grow. Your thoughts are real and so are you, no matter how much some guru has deceived you into denying reality.
