Nice article. I have long sided with Kant's position that all rational arguments for or against religious claims, such as the existence of God, are a waste of time. Like most foundational questions, it's not a question that can be solved by reason. Both theism and atheism are inherently irrational propositions. Belief in God can be supported only by experiences of God. If people want to have the conversation about their experiences of a transcendent, perhaps divine realm, they should be allowed to have that conversation, and dogmatists and skeptics have no place in it because their ideologies remove them from the conversation.
