Oh definitely, the Buddhist desire for negation of self is a tool toward the eventual goal of samsara. Of course, that desire for negation is based on a whole other set of assumptions about the nature of the universe and human existence, but yes, it is an attempt to break out of the assumed suffering of existence through logical reshaping of the mind.

It is a shame about the rudeness, yes. I just had another one here. I just delete them and move on. There is no point in letting in such negativity.
