You harvest what you sow.

Ah, the Internet. One of our greatest inventions; one of our great missed opportunities.

The Internet is a human invention, and therefore it expresses human character, our strengths and our weaknesses. The Internet especially channels our propensities for lazy thinking.

We harvest what we sow, or in the case of most Web sites, we harvest what other people sow. We are fed a steady diet of clickbait to fluff, because Web site algorithms are programmed to show us fluffy more than anything serious that would expand our minds.

So, in the spirit of sowing seriously, here are some articles that were too deep and substantive for the algorithms to show you.
