Sex is not gender. Sex is bodily organs and hormones. They are biological realities but even they are different for every individual. Gender is arbitrary. Genders are labels and stereotypes that inherently depersonalize people. I advocate seeing individuals, seeing people, not labels. I wrote about that here:
