Sorry, but proof that sex is not entirely binary is exactly that--proof.

But the issue, which I cannot help but notice that you are avoiding, is that sex and gender are not the same. This article is about gender and about the ignorant assumption that everyone must be made to conform to strict binary gender labels and designations. That is what you seem to be doing, and since you brought it up, that is what the Taliban is doing: imposing gender roles on people. They are saying: " we say you are a woman, and therefore this is what you are allowed to do and not allowed to do because of your gender."

Gender identity is the most fundamental social identity of human society, more than race, class, or creed. For you to try to dismiss it as a "luxury belief" is not only factually incorrect, it is a gross denial of the problems people face around the world.
