Teaching philosophy at a U.S. university, I see on a nearly daily basis how poorly K-12 prepares students to think and to respond constructively to the world. I hadn’t been thinking about mental health when writing this piece, but thank you for bringing that aspect of this to my attention. Another reason to be concerned.
