Thank you, Adam. I also see the connection with the philosophy of science. I do not directly do philosophy of science but I agree with the critique of theory-ladenness, as you put it, and I would make a similar set of statements about conducting scientific inquiry. It seems self-evident to me that presumptions prejudice one’s observations which increase the likelihood of reaching incorrect conclusions.

You bring to mind the idea that I should post on Medium some excepts on philosophy of science that I wrote about in my new textbook. Maybe that can be my next article.
