Thank you and thanks for your valuable additions to the discussion. I think it’s a chicken-and-egg quandary as to which came first, patriarchy or male insecurity. I’m inclined to agree with you that insecurity is to root issue, not just in prejudice against women but all forms of prejudice. If one is comfortable in oneself, there is much less need to put others down to feel okay about yourself. It would be great to hear from others on this.
