Thank you for making that excellent point about the difference between words and the realities to which they point. It is a crucial distinction we philosophers must constantly be careful to make. Though in a written article I must use words, I do mean the realities to which they point. To be clear, I am not saying the phrase “all my thoughts are illusions” is an incorrect statement, I am saying that what is incorrect is the concept behind that phrase: the denial of the reality of thoughts. The concept behind “all my thoughts are illusions” is denying the moon not the finger pointing to it. Thank you for the opportunity to clarify.
