Thanks, I enjoyed this. A slightly humorous but wise and perceptive story about technology and our relationship with it.

Philosophers have been wrestling with the implications of technology for a long time. The German idealists in the 1810s bemoaned the factories and the Frankfurt School in the 1920s worried about the effects of radio. Each generation has a new push-pull relationship with a new set of technologies.
