Thanks. You are correct that I write this with a specific audience in mind — an American one. For one reason, I grew up in the U.S. so that’s what I know, and another is that I think the idea of defining people by generations is mostly an American phenomenon. I agree that any other culture that would think that way would have very different definitions.
