That's a great question, Daniel. There is no one way to to philosophy It is work, in a real sense, but it is better to see philosophy as a dialogue that you can engage in. That means listening to philosophers and their ideas and responding to those ideas either internally or by writing and speaking about them. Responding to articles here on Medium or on YouTube or other online forums are good vehicles for that. Does your university have a philosophy club or organization?
A better way to think about philosophy is to see at as play instead of work. I don't mean frivolous play, but an activity you play with, have fun with. It is not a chore, not an effort, but an experience you are taking part in. As play, philosophy doesn't have to concretely mean a particular thing, it can be an expression of yourself, an interaction with the world.
