There are no jabs, subtle or otherwise, in this article, but that’s not the point. A much deeper issue is.

The paradox of intolerance: if we tolerate intolerance, then intolerance is allowed to run free and we end up with nothing but hatred. Only by refusing to tolerate intolerance can be preserve freedom. That is the only truth I am defending here.

There is of course no defense of or attack on any political parties in this article. I have none, want none.

Perhaps what separates us I am honest with myself and honest about what achieving common ground actually means.
