The whole “childish wokeness” argument does not impress me. All of the complaints by the anti-woke crowd about female characters in movies like Star Wars and TV shows like Star Trek apply to male characters in earlier versions of those franchises. For example, in Star Wars, every condemnation of Rey being woke equally applies to Luke Skywalker. But strangely the anti-woke crowd doesn’t say Luke is woke. What’s the difference? They only condemn the woman.
