Well, that's the thing: I have spoken with such people, and spoken with other philosophers who have spoken with the "pure" scientists, and always hear the same thing. We take the various critiques of science to the "pure" scientists and they won't listen, only wave it away. "Science doesn't need philosophy" they say.

Obviously, I can't, in a short article, discuss all discussion of science. This is, as the tile says, an article specifically about Thomas Kuhn's ideas. I think his critique illuminates a key element of human social behavior, of which science is one part.
