With respect, I can't agree. There are two parts to how I defined the cynical philosopher--seeing no hope and providing no solutions. Chomsky fits both parts. Also with respect, I must point out that you are following suit with Chomsky's cynicism--you follow him well in giving a spate of complaints and negative judgments about others without offering any hope or solutions. Also needing to be said is that there is nothing original in any aspect of Chomsky's complaints. He is neither the first or the only one to speak against any of the issues you mention or make. these forward=looking statements. But even Chomsky would agree that what imperialism is goes beyond your use of it here. Finally, all of these complaints and negative judgments about Trump miss the real threats that we face. I posted about that yesterday.
