  1. Wittgenstein had the idea very early on. He wrote in his early notebooks that logic takes care of itself, which made it into the Tractatus as “Logic must look after itself.” (5.473). He only fully embraced the idea in his Cambridge lectures noted in the Blue and Brown Books, and Philosophical Investigations.
  2. Hermeneutics refers tot he method of interpretation and the acts of applying such a method. It is usually applied to texts — interpreting the meaning of a text. It is an important consideration for continental philosophy because it accepts that there is no such thing as absolute, singular truth when it comes to the questions about what words and ideas mean. So yes, because hermeneutics is an ongoing activity, it is related to process.
