Would be great if it was easier to run a radio station, and cheaper. It costs a ton. But you are so correct, so many of us have these playlists that we'd love to share with others. I used to be active on last.fm when they first started but after a major music label bought it they changed it to be much less interactive and difficult to share playlists.
