Yes, and I am sorry for that nonsense. The publisher ambushed me on the price and the terms of the eBook, not revealing the actual final price until after it was already published. I had insisted that eBook be permanently available and they now pretend I never made such a requirement. Educational textbook publishers are evil. How evil? I’ll let you in on the nasty secret. For every $70 sale they make, they pocket $65 of that, and I who did all the work get $5.

This is why I am writing a second, extended textbook that I will self-publish and sell the eBook for around $40 and allow people to OWN it forever. If you can be patient, I should have that second book published by the summer.

Again, I am very sorry.
