Yes, people need to learn how to use the tool of rationality. In K-12, yes, critical thinking has been run out of the curriculum, but it is taught in any good college or university. The university where I teach requires a course in reasoning for all students. But again, we need to teach more than just the nuts and bolts of what argumentation is. The morality and worldly knowledge behind the ue of rationality is crucial.
