Yes, the terms as currently used are used largely meaninglessly. But that does not mean they can't be returned to meaningful use.

Stalin-Hitler are not binaries as I argue. As I point out, to say they are opposites is absurd. Abortion is a binary: you have one or you don't, they are banned or they are not banned and only if they are not banned can further options be explored.
